You can tell the story of how you took down a croc, ripped its teeth out with your bare hands, and then tied them into the croc's back strap. Try to keep a straight face when you are telling your kids though!
The DUNDEE HAT leather is full grain buffalo just slightly waxed then built in our traditional Australian style. Two eyelets run parallel to the cap which is slightly more rounded than some of our other hats. The hat band comes from the crocs* back strap and the teeth are boiled before use so that you will notice that they are hollow. We use a thin leather strip to lash the teeth onto the back strap so it's all hand done.
*All are farmed crocodiles so that the care and conditions that they live in are government regulated.
